Judge orders girl added to adult lung transplant list
Wed Jun 5, 2013
This ruling just means that those with the money and access to Federal Court will be able to get transplants, while those without the means and access will not. We might as well just let organs be purchased by anyone that can afford them. The end result will be the same.
Chief pleads for burial spot for Tsarnaev: 'We are not barbarians'
Wed May 8, 2013
This is ridiculous. Other mass murderers have been buried, some in prison cemetaries, some released to families and buried in regular cemetaries. He's no different from any other mass killer. If other killers are allowed to be buried without all this fuss, he should be too.
Foreclosure compensation checks arrive, but anger some homeowners
Thu May 2, 2013
I don't understand some of this. The first woman mentioned in the story admits that she fell behind in her mortgage when she lost her job.
Yahoo's new baby leave policy is generous. Yours? Probably not so much

Why should parents get so much leave when other employees get nothing? Offer same amount of personal leave to all employees-for babies or
Americans in denial about long-term care
Wed Apr 24, 2013
So, you think the Medicare patients should be eating dog food and sleeping on the floor?
NYPD chief: Bombing suspects may have been headed for NYC to party
Wed Apr 24, 2013
This is wrong. A funeral and burial are for the family, not for him. His parents have done nothing wrong and harmed no one. They have the right to mourn their son. Regardless of who he is and what he did, his family should still be granted the respect they deserve.
Best-educated moms are also more likely to 'opt out,' research finds
Fri Apr 12, 2013
So these privileged women take up spots in top-ranked universities that other students could have, and then the women don't even bother to use their educations. Nice. Children don't care if you've been to Harvard, or some little state college.
Florida school apologizes after students stomp on 'Jesus'
Wed Mar 27, 2013
For Pete's sake, this is ridiculous. It's just a word on a piece of paper. No one told the students they couldn't believe in Jesus, or worship him, or anything else having to do with expression of religion. They didn't even have to participate in the experiment if they didn't want to.
Rubio skips immigration in favor of conservative standbys at CPAC
Thu Mar 14, 2013
Just keep on with the status quo, Rubio, and your party will lose again in 2016.
Goodbye, 8-hour workday: Smartphones make it hard to escape the office
Mon Mar 11, 2013
I never check emails or do work in the evenings or on weekends, and certainly not on vacations. I think all these people that think they have to be constantly connected are just trying to make themselves feel more important than they are.
